Ok. so you all know how this works...I will play the role of the the GM of the Washington Capitals...make your best "realistic trade offer" and also include your contract extension given that I will allow you to talk to him early in order to get the best return. He is under contract for one more season, so negotiations can begin on July 1.

Up for bid.....

Tom Wilson.

an NHL rarity/Unicorn, Wilson can play and can intimidate....He's also a very good leader on and off the ice...He could be compared a bit to Matthew Tkachuk...and we've all seen what that addition has done in Florida..

Contract Status..
One more year. $5.166M

Age:29
6 foot 4
220 pounds.

Regular Season Stats...
Games Played: 531
Goals: 107
Assists: 136
Points: 243
Plus/Minus: +65
Penalty Minutes: 1,065

Playoff Stats...
Games Played: 110
Goals: 17
Assists: 25
Points: 42
Plus/Minus: +7
Penalty Minutes: 330

Wilson does get suspended and has faced some injuries, yet throughout his NHL career he has surprisingly averaged just under 70 games played per season... Which is impressive. He has also shown the rare ability (for a tough guy) to be able to keep up with and benefit highly skilled players...

Reply with your offers...I will take a few days and then give you my decision...
