I'm pretty sure Bo was here last season when this team went on that 2/3 of a season tear... so you can just as easily say the Canucks played their best hockey in years with Bo on the team.

The leadership narrative is pretty dumb. If there were other leaders on this team then they would have led as well(not saying they didnt). It's that simple. You put way too much on a piece of cloth in the shape of a C being sewn onto a jersey. Like it's magical or something.


What we have is two seasons in a row where this team turned around exactly when a new coach was brought in. Fabricate narratives all you want but it's pretty obvious that this team is going through a coach bump once again.

Ya unfortunately many players have great seasons in their contract years then fall back to reality. Bo is no different and I also agree that Bo would not be Tocchet's 'guy' moving forward. The Captaincy was just to much for him which was unfortunate.
