Every year some very good teams lose in the first round because of the current format, nothing new that some good teams will go home early. Should be 1 vs 16.

At minimum 1v8 in conference. With unbalanced schedules, 1v16 isn't really a fair ranking system.

I don't always watch the playoffs. Some years yes, some no. I lose a lot of interest when my team goes. In fact after the playoffs is when real Canuck hockey happens. We get to go spend money foolishly.

True, although I think they should change the schedules, 1 vs 8 is even much better. It’s a poor system as it’s setup imo. There’s no way #2 and #3 teams should be playing each other in round one.

I want a modified PO format. Makes more money & bottom teams run a gauntlet & best 3 teams each division get some rest & heal.

Top 3 each division get a bye.
Straight into the play down
4 WC teams each conference.
- play a home & home B2B nights
- decides who top conference team play
- 1st round then begins after 1 day rest

We didn't really lose it, we cashed it in. At first my initial reaction was what a dumb move and then I remembered I think Canucks suck at drafting.
