Draft lottery May 8th. Let's hope that we don't give a poop about it.

He was already kicked of the ASU Hockey team, he is about to get kicked off the Mercyhurst team.

I wonder if Danny cut him off

Someone may have noted this already but all 5 teams we are competing with for a spot lost last night. That helps

A win tonight and an Islanders loss puts us 1 point out

It is still a very very long shot, but hey they're hanging around

Especially when you have to factor in the tiebreaker

Do regulation wins matter or do regulation/overtime wins matter more?

When Danny was in Buffalo his kids were fine, I reffed a bunch of their games. But who knows what happens away from the rink.

It’s so hard to gain points but so easy to lose them.

They really need a run if they have a shot.

Have to factor in that it’s not just them fighting for it.

Sens won’t continue to lose every game they play, Florida is still a threat

If Levi doesn't sign an ATO, he can't play in Rochester for the playoffs.

I believe they're deciding which path to take. The Owen Power route or guys like Will Borgen who plays in Rochester on an ATO and his ELC kicks in next season. If the latter, Levi only plays in Rochester and can play in playoffs.

Not sure how new it is, but this is the rule:

Ties are broken by teams' total number of regulation wins (RW), regulation and non-shootout overtime wins (ROW), and then head-to-head if still tied

In 2020 it was just ROW as the first tie breaker

Am I getting worried that Levi won't sign? No.

He's by far the best player on that team and the Sabres, and he, need to decide what the most appropriate route is for the rest of the season.

Best option:

Levi - burn a year of ELC
Sabres - Levi signs an ATO to play in Rochester and maybe playoff game(s) there

Are the Sabres going to do whatever Levi wants?
