His 2 options:
1. Sign with Buffalo soon, get a couple of game in for Buffalo (he can't really be a downgrade from what we have now), burn a year of his entry level contract and finish up the season in Rochester.

2. Stay at NorthEastern for his senior year and sign with another team in August 24.

There is really no decision to make though - Option 1 is much better as he has a clear path to the NHL and choosing option 2 would delay his 2nd contact (vs option 1) by 2 years. That's a lot of $$

The Bills and RB Nyheim Hines have now officially agreed to a renegotiated contract that includes a $1M signing bonus and the chance to earn more than the $4.79M in cash he was previously due, per source. It helps Hines’ upside, Buffalo’s salary cap.

He's not staying at NE.

The options are whether to sign an ATO or to sign an ELC.

Can’t blame them though…..

If the Sabres had one of 50 other goalies they’d probably be closer to if not on the playoffs

they're ranked 80th and 86th in goals saved above expected. Which mostly removes defensive incompetence.

they're (frank)ing losers. I don't give a poop if UPL becomes Tim (frank)ing Thomas when he's 35, get this kid the (frank) out of here.

Craig Anderson is a top 10 goalie this year.

There's 15 games left. Drive him till he runs out of gas. Which he will.

If he signs now, he'd get a 3 year ELC. If he stays in school, he'd sign a 2 year ELC next year.

Perhaps a poster fears greenway as a replacement, maybe he/she wants them to be worse then a current favorite sabre?
- Boss34

I’ll be the first guy to admit that I thought greenway was going to make Girgs expendable. I still hope he turns it around and does.

Eric Comrie has averaged -0.9 GSAA per game. The only one worse is Spencer Martin, who was sent back to the AHL as fast as they could.

Is Adam’s too nice to call Comrie in and say.

“We’re sending you down, you just haven’t been where we need you ti be”

It appears that way.

Also “they got mad that they were rumored to be in on goalies to not hurt Levi’s feelings”

Is that a (frank)ing joke?

Comrie is injured, there's no sending down right now.

Levi has the Sabres by the balls, they are literally bending to please him. An NHL team with an abysmal record in the last decade who did not draft this guy will need to bend for a goalie who is considered one of the best to play his position in college hockey of all time. So no, it's not a joke and it's expected.

Hopefully he spends practice in the box of shame. Horrible time to take that penalty.

Which is why this season, while entertaining is incredibly frustrating.

We ALL saw it last year that they needed a solid, proven goalie.

They’re solution was to take a shot on someone with 29 career games
