oh I missed this epoch.

too bad his talent didn't match his vibez. Love the guy, not a fan of the baller.

- TheSabresTaco

Watch him go to the Giants and light it up.

Was a great vibes guy. Vibes only go so far with Bean. Is Adam’s taking notes?

Do analytics help form this opinion on provorov?

Mediocre at best, might actually be bad?

Guys pretty durable and averages 30 points a year?
Almost hit 20 goals one season right?

What's very good?

- Boss34

He's all over the place in terms of career effectiveness. He's typically a stronger offensive driver than a defensive defenseman, but of course that's been reversed with Torts at the helm.

Overall he's really pretty average. If he played RD I'd look at him to maybe bump Joker down.

soon as they signed Harty you knew they were gonna cut him. Adams will make vibe cuts this offseason. Write it in sharpie.

There's a bigger point to this in that coaches like Daboll and to an even greater extent, Andy Reid, are far more creative playcallers than Ken Dorsey. Maybe Dorsey gets there eventually, but it seemed that as the season went on, and things didn't go smoothly, he thinned out the playbook and went with a certain number of plays he was comfortable with. The likes of Daboll and Reid don't need to do that.

Jost and JJ are sitting. Oloffson is in.

WTF ARE THEY DOING?

Did the team defense get better without Vic? I saw some awful goals.

I think the average fan would have done a better job calling plays than Dorsey.

Jost has been a good story, but his effectiveness is limited. When it has come to consistency this season, everyone has been relatively interchangeable outside the top line, Cozens and to a lesser extent, Quinn.

This is what happens when you pound the table so hard for a guy like Jordan Greenway. Perhaps Granato's hand still hurts and the pain is causing him not to think so clearly.

The criticism isn't so much that Dorsey is a bad playcaller so much as that he's an inexperienced one. I believe he's more than capable, but there were plenty of times this season that it was very clear that he was new at this.

Appreciate the post. 👍

Seems like provorov :

-Could fit in solid as a 2nd pairing
-Young nhl vet with some games experience
-Super durable, which should be more important here with glass samuelsson.
-adds some grit and respectable offense
- decent contract until power grows up

I'm probably gonna beat this drum. Often.

Think ef bear x 3

Which is the exact role you want Provorov in. What is the issue? The Sabres need a durable 4rh d.

I see a fit, would love for Kevin to get on the double trade train and get a package of him and Koencny as the Sabres drafted his younger brother.

😀 good post.

Hopefully KA pounds the table harder next time.

This should limit donnie's input moving forward.

Watching the embedded, it's super clear who is gonna take the blame or credit on this trade.

You're not seriously trying to suggest Savoie is better than Meier in two years. It boggles the mind that anyone would suggest this.
If this is any inkling as to how the team evaluates players no wonder the GM is happy with the goaltending situation.

With Adams finally admitting the team gets bullied, and Greenway looking like he just came from learn to skate class, who is on the radar to fill that void?

Are they shopping for a starting goalie or UPL/Levi is the plan for next season?

Like I said, I wouldn't mind it. I'd fully support Konecny and Prov, but I'm still not using Sav and Kul to do it.

That is a great point. Let’s hope Dorsey grows a bit in year 2
