Anyone else go to Blue and gold insights?

Highlight, my old seat neighbor asking a question about playing different goal songs for each player.

She wanted just one song for everyone.

KA played her the rest of the meeting.....

With where the Sabres will be hopefully picking the next few years In The first.

They have like a 70/30 chance at landing a Girgensosns over a Cozens/Quinn though.

Before someone says but Kulich and Ostlund, I know. I’m highly excited for them, but Neither have proven anything in the big leagues. Member when Girgs was supposed to be a better ROR?

Now he’s ROR if ROR was 50 years old.

- ImThatGuy

that's why IMO they need to up the money in the scouting department

decent players picked in the 20's like K'Andre Miller, Jake Oettinger, Robert Thomas, Philip Tomasino, etc

Well you would hope he would address this situation in the offseason or a trade at the Draft. If Adams is gonna build from within, he better start Drafting some D and we have about 2 to 3 years more waiting.
- Buff36

1. Trade Joker, find short or long term vet
2. Allow time to play out, keep Johnson in Rochester for a year
3. Bring Johnson up, keep Stillman or Boosh, or sign/keep the guy you got this offseason

Looks like we hit on a few guys recently.

KA really excited about savioe. Off the charts.

High on kulich and oslund.

Loving a couple of the russians. Novokov picked in the 5th/ 6th round a few years ago.

A defenseman, he was pretty excited about him being an nhl player

KA seemed pretty sure on Johnson, listed him a prospect fairly confidently

Hopefully a 10 goal / 20 point season for girgensons.

That's the expectation....

He's gonna be close.

Better then elmer asplund....

- Boss34

Everyone here knows that was not your expectation coming into the season.

Not sure why Asplund matters anymore, but he put up more points last year than Girgs has in his past 7 seasons. Greenway should terrify you. He's the competition now, and he can't sit.

my opinion, way more fun when the players pick a song. plus i dont trust the org to pick a good, lasting song.

id be way more interested in listening to the actual insights about what his plans are for the next two years.

Falcons signed DL Calais Campbell, formerly of the Ravens, to a one-year contract.
Campbell becomes the latest addition to Atlanta's defense, graded by Pro Football Focus as last year's second worst pass rush unit and 12th worst run defense. Turning 37 in September, Campbell appeared in 14 games for the Ravens last season, totaling 5.5 sacks, his most since 2019. He's now five years removed from his last double-digit sack season. It was believed Campbell, who also talked with the Jaguars and Lions, was angling to sign with a contender in what could be his last NFL season. He lands with the Falcons instead.

Sabres have Novikov, Lindgren and Johnson as their only viable defensive prospects. What the (frank). I don't know what they think about Komarov.

I know Novikov is free to come to NA this year though.

Asplund was your "glue guy"
Girgensons "replacement" next season.

Good try, you'll hit on something eventually 😀

I hope he goes out and gets a Good Dman. Athletic had a article on underrated Dman yesterday. Few that could be Available this off-season.

Everyone agreed with individualism in regards to the songs. The crowd applauded KA's defiance.

Mostly lip service, but he did forget to mention isak rosens name with the prospects he's excited about.

Freudian slip perhaps? Or just an oversite 🤔

It's something that needs to be prioritized this offseason throughout the Organization. We are really thin throughout the system. I know the Forward talent is very good in this draft. But if Reinbacher is still there, be very hard to pass up Need wise.

Specifically mentioned novikov as an NHL guy.

I envisioned the KA cigarette giff...

Big dude apparently

We all know he's secondary to Levi, Savoie, Kulich and Ostlund. Which is ok.

I don't personally see the need to force the 1st round pick, but there's absolutely no reason that they can't stock the defensive shelves in the draft, and even trade a guy like Rosen for a guy like, I don't know, Carson Lambos.

Just deflecting because it's hard to say Girgs didn't meet your expectations this year.

I have no problem saying Asplund didn't meet my expectations this year. You're the only one he brings up his name anymore.

I'm not saying force it, but at this point where we stand with the pick. He’s rated right there.

Not a great situation right now. They do have to force things a bit this offseason. Easy to identify that they need to upgrade Joker, much tougher to actually do. Easy to hear the KA speech saying how much he loves Joker and that he's still young. Easy to say flip prospects for D, but you usually lose a lot on those deals.

D could line up well in the draft.

This draft really does give them the chance, a lot of decent D are gonna fall into the 2nd and early 3rd because of the Forward talent, but that could also lead to the Sabres having one of the Best D in this Draft sitting right there at pick 1 for them.
