Suzuki-PLD-Bedard would be pretty neat. Without Bedard, it's a one man show with one top 6 C there right now. Combine that with a young team in the middle of the rebuild, I like the idea for them. They have a lot of useless turds to get rid of though.

PLD has had his sights on playing with Montreal since he was Columbus.

His refusal to sign long term in Columbus coupled with other things was why they dealt him to Winnipeg in the first place.

He did request a trade out of Columbus, that’s how he ended up in Winnipeg in the first place.

There have been trade rumours surrounding PLD since he’s been in Winnipeg as well, unless signing a one year deal this past offseason to you screams “I want to be here long term”.

Actions speak louder than the fluff in the media.
