Assuming the Hawks don’t win the draft lottery and the best defenseman and best forward are equal what direction does Davidson go? - paulr
Forward need more help in top 6 skill wise. But cannot go wrong with either forward or defenseman |

Eiserman or the cossak if eiserman gone - LFS
If the Hawks don’t draft #1 overall I’m ok with Eiserman, Demidov, Levshunov or D!ckinson.
I’m more curious on who will be available at Tampa’s pick. |

Surprised you would gamble on Demidov. You know about the skating no use of edges criticism. Do you know he can change that like over the summer …..he becomes a different skater with a skating instructor transforming his skating? |

Who is considered the most complete defenseman right now? Richardinson or Levshunov? If they stay at 2, that’s the guy I think they pick. I’d like them to pick Eiserman. With their later pick there’s too many unknowns, but I really like what what I’ve read and seen of Hage, Senneke, and Yakemchuk |

Ice hogs lose in overtime last night. Pitlick, Sanford and some kid named Jackson Cates scored. The goals they gave up were very Blackhawk-y. Uncontested shots in the slot and defensive breakdowns. Two were clear communication issues and the other Two were too many guys flying the zone when they thought they had possession/playing on the wrong side of the puck. Too many turnovers, and Crevier was driving the struggle bus. They were pretty badly outshot.
Commesso in net was sharp early, hard to say if any of the goals were “soft”, but didn’t look like it. The icehogs feed is from a weird angle to me. 38 saves in 42 shots. Cossa was in the other net and made 27 on 30. |

I’ve been watching London and Saginaw in the OHL playoffs, Sam D!ckinson head to head with Parekh. Parekh is being hit at every opportunity and is somewhat intimidated and isn’t playing his best. SD on the other hand is a beast. Exceptional skater, highly skilled, he picks his spots to go on offense at the right times and his defensive game is solid. Can he be a better skating more skilled Shea Webber? I haven’t seen enough of Levshunov to compare him and D!ckinson, unfortunately. But what little I have seen he’s pretty good too, and he’s shown he’s willing to play in NA and a team doesn’t have to worry about the “Russian factor”. The way Sennecke ended the season and is playing in the post season, there’s a very good chance his stock rises and he won’t be available with the Tampa pick. |

List of top 50 UFA's along with projected signing amount and term.
https://www.dailyfaceoff....aily-faceoffs-top-50-ufas
I'm surprised at all the RD's available if the Hawks want to complement Jones and Murphy. Probably a good idea considering Murphy's injury history. Montour, Roy, Pesce, Walker, Chatfield, Carrier, Myers, Dumba, DeMelo, Tanev, Desharnais.
I would bet one of them is on the team this Fall.

Probably why Wiz still has Eiserman at #2 - captainserious
Yea and it sounds like he's got a great work ethic, if that's the case and he's there at the Blackhawks selection they draft him. I imagine that KD and company like the fact he gets pissed off in games. Another benefit is he's lefty which would look great on the PP or the same line with Bedard.
It'll be fun to, competition between the 2 of them who can score more goals.

I’m good with whoever they get as long as he can play when it gets tough. I don’t want to see dainty regular season perimeter players. |

Sounds like he's a gym rat and i heard from several analysts say he won't be denied going to the tough areas.
I agree with you but i think KD does as well, seems one of the ingredients he favors is guys who compete all over the ice.

Good news for the NHL, i never really understood why the NHL didn't make a deal work with espn last time. I think the 2 are good for each other. With all the young talent coming into the league and better coverage and the southern teams making the playoffs all good signs for the NHL future. |

Bedard’s cousin, Gavin McKenna may be every bit as good. He scored a beautiful goal against Sweden. |

What if the team finishing with the first selection has young centre prospects and wants a goal scorer?

I even settled in on my "lose the lottery is a good thing for a future lottery year win" i kept thinking, "What if Eiserman is taken second despite the projection lists, NHL team mocks and they see what we see a gun....a big gun."
Juraj Slafkovsky was a surprise big forward.
(Central Scouting) projected 1st overall Shane Wright was the best selection.
San Jose has Will Smith in the pipeline. Theyalso selected C Filip Bystedt.
Do they really want Celebrini?
All I know is what I see a guy who has a big shot.
Sorry the hockey world has nil-picked him into a top ten possible, it could be a smoke screen that clears before the June 27th. |

While people complain about his edges he just keeps putting pucks in the net. I was in on lindstrom but have a red flag now with his back issues… at 17. Not good. |
