Do you think it was Bettman that gave Boeser the dirty vax?
I am pretty neutral about the comments in here. I stay out of them because I think both sides have valid points but I don't believe the NHL is taking personal aim to eliminate the Canucks. - VANTEL
Again, they played too much from behind the entire series and never really were able to play their game enough. They had to rush everything because they weren't able to settle down and slow the game down enough to deal with the Oilers. I really want to know what the injuries were because I'm sure at least Petey, Miller, Boeser, Hronek, Hughes and Cole were fighting ones that would have had them out for significant time in the regular season. - DariusKnight
Agree lack of taking and holding a lead was taxing.
As for injuries I don’t think there is anything there. Maybe QH had something but minor.
Great season.
Really good playoff run, despite a number of setbacks.
Came down to Oilers stars outplayed Vans imo.
Oh well.

As was mentioned, before the playoffs, the Canucks would go as far as Miller could carry them, he had a very good playoffs and season. Zadorov Myers and Soucy also had good playoffs.
Garland played very well all season, as did Blueger.
Obviously there were some disappointments, like 40, 17, 43 82 and Mikheyev, were all very disappointing.
Good fight, they were in that game until the end. Excited for next year - neem55
No they weren't. They turned it up a bit near the end of the 3rd.
Frankly, they didn't show up tonight but at least they are not pathetic cupcakes like the Toronto Maple Leafs losing in the 1st round as per tradition..

It was a shockingly successful season. It sucks to lose to Edmonton, but to go to 7 without Demko is pretty impressive. Petey wasn't good, then Brock was out... it's a lot to overcome. Hopefully they can build on this year and stay healthier next playoffs.

They don’t give up, it was a great learning experience, they looked like they played not to lose the first 30 minutes, they can hold thier head high they gave it a good go for the first taste of the playoffs, you have to lose before you win heck the oil have been at it 6 years.
