I’ve figured it out. Donald Trump has modeled his theatrics and persona from watching Richard Dawson in The Running Man. - Woderwick

Really?
For the love of God!
Do you remember back just before free agency when they were in contract negotiations with Woll and they talked about their concerns about his health and well being and how they were getting better trainers and programs to help with all that?
I guess we lead the league in something.
NHL Player Injuries by Team:
Toronto Maple Leafs: 6
Anaheim Ducks: 5
Edmonton Oilers: 4
Chicago Blackhawks: 4
New York Islanders: 4
San Jose Sharks: 4
Vancouver Canucks: 4 - Monkeypunk
Leafs have been pretty lucky over the years with injuries and not having too many at once..
Guess its caught up them |

Looking at this years Leafs, it's actually refreshing. Two years ago, we had the Dubas circus with the midget clown show most nights. This team now plays a North/South game and takes the body. Their defense and shot blocking ability is at a very high standard right now. Gone are the Timothy Lilejgren, Rasmus Sandin types and the team is much more cohesive. Keefe never gave Conor Timmins a decent look, but Burube seems to like his game. Found money with this guy.
Leafs offense seems to be more balanced and the additions from the farm are paying dividends. We could do without Reaves and probably trade Robertson for a second rounder. His style doesn't compliment the current structure of this team so stocking the draft capital cupboard is a must. The goaltending is starting to look like one of the teams greatest strengths. Not too many teams can boast a 1A/1B option like this. Even on the farm, they have NHL ready backups. Treliving, for all of the early skepticism seems to be miles ahead of what Dubas ever achieved. Keeping a slow and steady hand is exactly what this team needed. No more drama, just compete. With all of the current injuries, there should be ample cap room at the end of the season to plug a hole or two. Another centre would help. |

I’m assuming you mean we can trade him for two rounds of beer at the next GM meetings, and I still think you are being delusional.
