Still agree and like not making any moves. This team is tight knot and playing that well. Four solid lines and balanced scoring throughout.

On the flipside I think some changes in the offseason likely happen. Likely a couple vets get moved and or replaced and we add in more prospects and depth through drafting.

I think Donato has to be brought back and retained. He has earned it bigtime. And hopefully Borgen and Soucy likewise get locked up. After that the real question will be are we back yo running Gru/Dreidger which Im guessing we will be and Jones cashes in on a good season.

If by “back and forth” in OT you mean the Kraken took the puck back, and forth then yes! I don’t think the Avs even touched the puck in the extra time

Sens still believe they can make it so that should be a tough game, and while the Ducks want us to win, you know the players will still be trying, no nights off.

As good as Jones has been for the team, he hasn’t really been great. Unless they find a trade partner I can’t see them bringing him back.

Yes. They'd have to have Dreidger waive and be able to trade him. I wouldnt mind Jones as a second to Gru but he likely is cashing in there.

Solid expected win on the Ducks. Boys are getting it right back on track here now. Best is we win and Knights lose. Calgary gains no ground on us there too.

It’s a nice run of late good to see the fight is on for the Krak.

Still highly disappointing they didn’t add a PP specialist before the TDL.

Opportunities are never guaranteed. Look at the Flames and Avs who were top of the league last season and struggling to just make the playoffs.

So Krak shouldn’t sit back and wait some moves should be made in off season.

Already have Dunn.

Still beating the dead horse though. 2nd year expansion team building. We cant be wasting assets. We are NOT a cup contender. We enjoy the ride and keep building. It was and is the right move.

Should be a tough one tonight. Ottawa fighting to get a spot but Sogaard in net. Need to get to him early and jump on him. Need to take the win here.

Tough game. Dunn gave us tgat early 3rd lead but we just couldnt get an insirance tally or hold it. Bloody old man Giroux and the DeBrincat get Ottawa a huge win.

Worse Edmonton actually beat Boston.

Things just remain real tight now.

Ottawa fan jumpin in quick just to say wow, you guys have speed to burn, I love the team build, speed up front and monsters on the back end, able to roll all 4 lines in any situation. It was a fun game to watch, Pinto came around the boards behind your net and had almost 500lbs of Oleksiak and Soucy hammer him into the boards lol I'm glad he was able to skate away from that. You've got a great, fun team in Seattle.

Ottawa is going to be scary soon too. It was a good game by some up and coming teams to be sure.

We are pretty quick and aggressive on the forecheck. Play with a lot of intensity. Our biggest fault is turnovers/bad reads and not as structured defensively in our own end. Thats coaching though.

Still, its a great ride and season right now. Ansolutely fantastic for year 2.

If the Krak get whacked out of making the playoffs it will be all because they stood still for TDL. It’s okay always next year. Keep building.

Realistically the Kraken would need an outright utter collapse to miss the playoffs. Not likely happening. Sitting 3rd, tied in piunts with the Oilers but with a game in hand. Only 4 points back of both Vegas and LA too.

Calgary 9 points back and thats going to be hell to try and overcome. Really the lower seeded wildcard, the Jets, are the ones that may fall out since Calgary is only 4 points back with their recent slide.

Its more a wuestion of can Seattle go on another late season major run and finish even 2nd to take home ice?!

Man

What a game and such a heartbreaker!! Just couldn't hold that lead after Bjorkstrand got us that PPG. And then to drop it in OT?! 😳😖😭

Solid game tjough and got a point. Take it and hopefully get 2 on the next one but to be tgat close to winning the game outright. Just ouch.

The season is a huge success by any measuring stick.

Beat out the Flames pls lol

Next season the Kraken will face a more difficult challenge. Ops will be better prepared & ready. Taking the next step will be needed to offset that &/or to keep progressing.

Aaaaaaand round 2 vs Dallas is a stinker. Jones cold and team down 5-2 with half the 3rd to go. Ugly. NOT a good night and we really could have used a big game and win but.... 🥴

Where is Sean and why isn’t he writing about the Krak?

This is the time where all the season long decisions to do nothing start to show. Anyway it’s okay I am told this is all gravy and next season will be better.

Pacific and West are a lot more open now. So it’s whoever has their team flying out of the gate that usually sustains the lead.

Sean gets about. Its not like Toronto or Montreal but we get more blogs than Vancouver 😆

Not much going on really. If you look at the points/standings unless the Kraken pull a Leafy Burke era 18 wheeler they are pretty much in. Could we end up first wild atd? Sure. Could we catch LA and get home i e advantage? Sure. Doubt we catch Vegas. Really we are playing out the string and trying to at least go .500.

The real battle is Winterpeg slumping and Nashville with like 3 games in hand. They could make it real interesting and bump the Jets out.

I do agree the West is rather open. And Pacific bigtime. LA has some issues but is solid. Same with Kraken. Vegas is loaded for now. Rest? Rebuild central so there is a few years of this I think.

I think its a fun ride this season. No point in worrying about next season as an expansion team with playoffs in sight.
