I am impressed by the resilience the Avs have. Battled the injury bug all year. Haven't had their captain for a single game yet. D core has been battered. Still finding ways to win and are within striking distance of first in the division. Not bad for a team who hasn't had a single game at 100% yet.

It's getting a bit worrisome how Makar keeps getting injured and also how I keep hearing Landy is suffering set backs. As much as the Av's are playing really well and winning I feel they need both players full time to get anywhere in the playoffs. Thank god they have a bit of an easier break in the schedule. Here's to hoping they can down the Pens tonight! Always a treat to watch Mack and Sid duel it out. Hopefully tomorrow morning we have a 3 way tie for first in the Central.

Was a good game if your a Wild fan. The Wild played a great game and deserved to win as when they had a chance they took it. Colorado on the other hand wasted many opportunities by trying to make pretty passes instead of just shooting the puck and getting gritty ugly goals. The Av's forwards need to learn that there is only so much room on highlight reels and ugly goals count just as much. Very frustrating to watch sometimes. 1st place is very deservedly belonging to the Wild at this time. Just hope these two teams don't meet in the first round.

One game does not make a series.
I personally don’t believe the Wild can handle the Avs in a best of 7

I don't believe I said anything about a series, or to the fact that the Av's can't beat the Wild in a 7 game series. I was referring to the fact that no matter who wins, they will be exhausted from probably the hardest possible series in the West in this years playoffs. If these two teams meet this year, I certainly hope it's further down the line as neither of these teams deserve to be eliminated in the first round.
