Matt Ross: Cats and Leafs, Peers Vote for Barkov

These next two games will make or break the Panthers. None of this win one lose one, they need to win both games from playoff teams.

Barkov is more under the weather than underrated. He cannot stay healthy, and that takes a toll on the team.

Spencer Knight has Jimmy Piersall syndrome. He's has great potential, yet the expectation to be the next great goalie is too much for him to handle. Mentally he cannot handle the stress of what is expected of him. He only human and he's just a kid. Fear strikes out.

I couldn't watch the game but the panthers are no slouch. Can't sleep through a game with the likes of Barkov.

was an awful game. I only had to ignore one text. But it was an awful awful game. And we will never know if had the Staal's not pulled distraction if that would have possibly changed the outcome. But there was not really an excuse to look that horrible. Catching the Leafs feed they were going on about Murray being a star of the game??? I really didnt see that. He wsant challenged nearly enough. The Defense back to back games has gone for an absolute poop.

Do you want controversy? Have all hockey players wear a donkey or an elephant on their sweater to represent what political party they like. Better yet have them have a Desantis face on their sweater with the slogan don't say gay. My whole point is that hockey is a sport and it should be free of any particular views of society. No sexuality. political or religion displays. Just keep hockey fun and free of the every day debates of what a particular person feels is right for the rest of us.

If the Panthers get beat by the Rangers, you may well stick a fork in it.

We have to admit that the Panthers are NOT a playoff team. They do not deserve to go to the playoffs. Others teams are trying to give it to them and they don't even want it. What will the off season hold for them? Changes are needed!

I read an interesting article. The Devils are thinking about not renewing Lindy Ruff's contract and letting him walk. They then will sign Andrew Brunette as their head coach. He was nominated for coach of the year last year, the Panthers won the President trophy and the Devils are playing on all cylinders now. Did Zito make a mistake in letting him go? Can you honestly say that Maurice have the Panthers playing better now? Food for thought.
