did i do my lineup right? i just put the players i want in the starting spots and then click on "start active player" and then "for week", right? i hope so cause that's what i did.

I click "start active players" first. This moves all the players that have a game that night into your opening roster. There may be some players on the bench that you would want to start over others. So then you just click that player you want to start and click on the player you want them to replace. It will save the changes you make automatically.

I think it's new for this year, but when you click "start active players" it gives you an option to start all the active players for that given week, or just start the active players for that day only.

I click the week option, and then go into each individual day and swap players around. It will auto pick your roster and start all the active players. But you need to be careful because like if you go to Wednesday for example and see everyone has a game, but it put McDavid on the bench and is starting Filppula instead or some dumb poop.

I usually get my lineup set the day before the week starts. Then each day I might look at the goaltending and swap around depending if a backup is scheduled to start.

yeah. you'll get days like that. One day all but maybe 3 players will have a game and you have to choose who to sit and who not to, and then the next day you'll have only one or two players playing.
