The Las Vegas Golden Knights face off against the Arizona Coyotes tonight at 8pm in what will be their second last preseason game. Let’s get into the lineup.

Pacioretty—Patrick—Stone
Marchessault—Brown—Dadonov
Janmark—Quinney—Kolesar
Baertschi—Krebs—Leschyshyn
Røndbjerg

Martinez-Pietrangelo
Hague-Whitecloud
Miromanov-Coghlan

Lehner
Brossoit

Look at you, Nolan Patrick
The 2017 2nd overall pick has been playing great this preseason. He set up Keegan Kolesar with a skate pass last game and has overall played a very sharp, crisp passing game. Tonight is the biggest game he’ll play in a Golden Knights sweater. He centers the first line between Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone. If he shows well — he could be the first in line for that spot if Stephenson runs into injury. The kid has been through so much in two years. This is going to be the line to watch tonight.

A premature evaluation of the trade
Nolan Patrick has been looking comfortable and has posted .5 points per game over a four game sample. His line has produced a lot of chances and deserve to be on the scoresheet a little more than what they have recorded so far. Meanwhile, there are reports of frustration regarding Cody Glass. Nashville Head Coach John Hynes has played him an average of 20 minutes a game this preseason and Cody has zero points over three games. It’s easy to overanalyze preseason, but so far the trade looks good.

Watch for Krebs
It’s unlikely Peyton Krebs plays the entire night on the fourth line as he just now seems to be heating up. With four points in his last game, expect DeBoer to move him around a bit.

Likely the last look at a few players
Røndbjerg, Miromanov, Baertschi to name a few will likely be sent down to the AHL in the next day or so. That said, injuries might cause one of them to stick. William Carrier, Nic Roy, Brett Howden and Shea Theodore did not practice yesterday and are considered day-to-day with injury.

Have a great day,
