Preview: Stars vs. Blackhawks

In the team's final game before heading to Finland to play two "Global Series" games against the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, Pete DeBoer's Dallas Stars (6-2-0) will host Luke Richardson's Chicago Blackhawks (2-4-1) at American Airlines Center on Saturday evening.

Game time is 7:00 p.m. CDT.

The Stars enter this game coming off a 5-2 road win on Thursday against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden. Three power play goals by the Stars in the second period changed the complexion of the game.

The Blackhawks, meanwhile, are coming off a 3-2 home loss on Friday to the Nashville Predators.
Craig Smith (3rd goal of the season) and Connor Bedard (2nd) tallied in a losing cause for Chicago. Petr Mrazek stopped 28 of 31 shots. A shorthanded goal by Gustav Nyquist and power play marker in the third period by Brady Skej proved to be Chicago's undoing.

Projected Stars lineup (based on Thursday's starting lines)

21 Jason Robertson - 24 Roope Hintz - 11 Logan Stankoven
27 Mason Marchment - 95 Matt Duchene - 91 Tyler Seguin
