So far we have confirmed that wingers Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier are involved on the Flames side.

Elliotte Friedman has confirmed that Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost are parts included from the Flyers.

Kuzmenko, a 29-year-old pending UFA, has struggled for most of this season. He showed last year that he has the ability to run an elite power play. With four points in his last three games, it may be fair to say that Flyers General Manager Daniel Briere believes that the Andrei of old has returned.

Per Jeff Marek, Kuzmenko and Flyers star rookie winger Matvei Michkov played on the same SKA St. Petersburg team in the KHL for a season.

Pelletier, the Flames' resident hype man, has four goals and seven assists for 11 points in 23 games in 2024-2025. He has shown the potential to do more in a middle-six role, but has had to contend with a logjam of wingers in Calgary.

Zero chance that the deal is just those two. Stay tuned.
