After losing back-to-back games against the Calgary Flames and Seattle Kraken, the Vancouver Canucks are looking to stop their losing streak tonight against the San Jose Sharks.

The Canucks had plenty of success against the Sharks in their first meeting back on Nov. 2, as they crushed them by a 10-1 final score. Quinn Hughes led the way with five points, while Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller, and Elias Pettersson all had three-point nights. Now, the Canucks will be hoping that they can take advantage of the weak Sharks roster again tonight.

Yet, the Canucks cannot take San Jose too lightly, either. While the Sharks have the worst record in the NHL right now (3-13-1), they have won three out of their last six games. With that, they beat the St. Louis Blues by a 5-1 final score last game, so they are starting to improve a bit.

The Canucks, however, still should come out of this game with a win if they put together a full 60-minute effort. They sport a significantly stronger roster than the Sharks, so this is a very winnable game for Vancouver.

Let's take a look at what the Canucks' projected lines are. Please note that they are subject to change:

Mikheyev - Pettersson - Kuzmenko
Di Giuseppe - Miller - Boeser
Joshua - Blueger - Garland
Hoglander - Lafferty - Beauvillier

Hughes - Hronek
Hirose - Myers
Cole - Friedman

Demko

Canuck to Watch: Miller

Miller has been on a real tear this season, as his 11 goals and 28 points in 18 games effectively display. With that, he is currently on a seven-game point streak, and he stands a good shot of changing that to eight with the way he has been playing.

Let's see if Vancouver secures two points tonight from here.
