Hey all,

We wish the absolute best to Bill Meltzer with PhiladelphiaFlyers.com. And we will be adding a new Flyers writer soon..and it could be YOU...The Flyers community here is so strong that I do believe someone here could be taking over..I have had some great luck before finding new writers from within. So, if you are interested in covering the Flyers for hockeybuzz, email me a sample story to eklund@hockeybuzz.com. Put "Flyers" in the subject. As I have in the past I will post the best here for the Flyers community to consider. Hint...I love unique voices. That means well thought-out opinions along with game stories... Anyone can tell you who scores I want opinions. Philly opinions.

On Team Canada....

I am hearing more and more talk that Team Canada is considering Travis Konecny on their list of possible players for the Four Nations...

And it makes sense. Konecny has found quite the niche as one of the Premiere penalty-killers in the league, the best short-handed goal scorer, and also has shown some real scoring touch 5-5 this season...

While he doesn't carry the "star power" most of Team Canada has, this is not that different than years ago when Simone Gagne was elected to Team Canada because of his two-way play..

Do you feel TK should be on this team?

And get me youer writing samples!
