My blog earlier today, I got into the possibility that Claude Giroux could be moved at the deadline, and I do believe he would be a good fit back in Philly. Actually a great fit.

I remember when Gas career started and Jagr was on the Flyers and talking to Claude about why his game had found another level. He was really quick to point outhow the dedication that Jaromir showed, and the pushing he got on the bench, made him want to make every shift special. And that was really when Claude went from what we see with a like a and in fact, I believe Morgan Frost now to a genuine star in this league.

I really think he could give a lot of of these flyers young forwards, especially the super talented ones, the same kind of inspiration that he got from number 68… I know many might not see the flyers as buyers, but I actually think they’re going to be. I think this team is better than we all thought and the fact th I believe G would be a good fit, The Flyers, they’re sticking in games with really good teams. Not always winning but starting to turn a corner..

Of course losing to Utah is not the greatest thing in the world, but it was the third game in four nights after a very physical first two games against Florida and Boston. It was a classic let up game and with young teams that’s what you’re gonna get sometimes.

I really think Claude would welcome coming back to Philly and taking one more run at it.

He is the center that they need. What say you?
