Marner Expands from 2 to 4 teams…and Marchand…. |

On Mitch Marner…
Sources confirm that Marner may be expanding the teams he has interest in. It is widely believed that is two top choices are Vegas or the LA Kings.. I’m told that the kings, as I’ve written before, I very much in on Connor, McDavid, and their back up plan would be Mitch Marner. Vegas may not have the space to do it, so two other teams are now showing up on the radar. I’m told that Anaheim, and Calgary are both working behind the scenes…through friends…passing notes like high school, and Marner isn’t closed up to the idea.
On Marchand…
It sounds like Marchand wants a contract in the area of $30 million… he wants to stay in Florida and play three or four more years… I do believe the Panthers may have a way to keep him, but I’m not sure how…. I know Brad loved the circumstances and fully believe that he wants to stay a Panther…
Perhaps there is a little more Zito magic dust in his pockets….maybe it’s a six year deal for 5 million per?
