Forsberg Out, Tomasino In |

Preds are back in action after their hard fought win in Philly during their Saturday matinee outing.
The Coyotes are in town accompanied by a lot of drama surrounding the organization with the continued speculation of a Jakob Chychrun trade. He's healthy scratched again tonight, but I have no doubts that AZ will show up and play hard just as they did the other night against St Louis in their 6-5 OT thriller loss. It's a game the Preds should win, but we all know how that can turn out. In hockey, the Vegas odds rarely mean much, especially as compared to other sports.
As for the Preds, we trade a Filip for a Phillip: Forsberg being out indefinitely due to an upper body injury and Phillip Tomasino making his season debut. Much of Preds nation has been raving for this ever since the opening night roster didn't find Tomasino on it.
Let's see if Tomasino has the ability to channel the frustration of being in the AHL this season to a strong performance in the show. The crowd will most certainly be focusing their attention on #26 tonight.
The Preds need to make a statement tonight back at home to make up for the atrocious showing against Vegas.
In other news . . .
It's Subban celebration night as well so it will be pretty cool to have P.K. back in the building. I loved him in gold and it brings back memories of those really strong Preds years. Although he only played in Nashville for 3 seasons, the impact he leaves on the cities in which he played is irreplaceable. He has a big heart and that is most certainly missed in the Music City. Cheers to you, P.K.!
