Enough. The Red Wings outshot Utah 40 to 19 and lost 5-2. It’s actually a disgrace to see what they’ve put on the board for the past 3 straight. As fantastic as Larkin’s “Bobby Orr” type moment was, this team is quickly becoming irrelevant. Interesting to hear the excuse list at the end of the year when they pack up the golf bags.

Let me know your thoughts, and what on earth happened to the goaltending an D zone coverage (and the power play for that matter)? Nothing’s going the right way and Yzerman just got to the buffet after a rugby team got through with it.

1st Period goals:

At 2:08 Utah struck first. 1-0 Utah

Larkin got it back with his 25th at 3:17.
The Captain took a pass from behind the net and made a sprawling shot. 1-1

At 8:49 Berggren doubled Detroit’s score with his 10th. Mazur had left the game with an injury and Kane was on the line with Berggren. Kane snapped a shot from between the dots and Berggren sent home the rebound. 2-1 DET

Shots: 15-6 DET
Score: 2-1 DET

2nd Period goals:

At 13:01 Utah tied it up. 2-2

Shots: 28-13 DET
Score: 2-2

3rd Period goals:

At 2:55 Utah scores again. 3-2 Utah

At 7:51 Utah scores again. 4-2 Utah

Shots: 40-19 DET
Score: 5-2 UTAH
