Update - both players will debut on Friday, per Griffins X account

Update - we have the numbers!

They’re coming! For many fans the news of Detroit’s top defensive prospect and last year’s first round pick in Axel Sandin-Pellikka and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard have been assigned to Grand Rapids.
Here is the Griffins write up on the 2 incoming players.

This is incredibly exciting for fans and the organization alike. Expect a full contingent the first time that they hit the ice. In particular, Sandin-Pellikka has had the eyes of teams internationally and from North America at the IIHF tournaments. More than anything, it will be interesting to see who he is paired with. As for MBN, again it will be interesting to see where he falls in the lineup but the buzz in the hockey world (as far as I’ve seen) is nowhere near what ASP is generating.

Let me know your thoughts, where you’d put each player, and if you’ll be tuning in for the debut. There’s an element of physicality associated with MBN, and that’s is something Detroit can use more of in the system to be sure. Fantastic news, to be certain! There are 3 games left so keep an eye out for any announcements!
