Utah Plummeting After D Injuries, Is Liljegren A Possibility? |

Earlier in the week, there was some speculation that the Utah Hockey Club might be looking for defensive help in the wake of long-term injuries to veteran defensemen Sean Durzi and John Marino.
This week, the club lost three straight to Ottawa, Colorado, and Los Angeles, and GM Bill Armstrong's patient talk about addressing things internally may just be a smokescreen as he looks for help on the trade market.
An interesting match for a deal could be Toronto, who have a pair of players ready to come off LTIR and Timothy Liljegren is rumored to have asked for a trade. UHC has a bevy of draft picks and Toronto is light on draft capital, so there appears to be a fit.
