The AHL Division Finals kick off this week for the quest of the Calder Cup. The third round is the final round for the teams remaining to continue their division rivals. For the best team in the North, the one seed Cleveland Monsters commence their best of five series with the third seed Syracuse Crunch.

A 2019 NHL rematch of the Blue Jackets and Lightning organizations.

Alex Barre-Boulet and Phillipe Myers are the most pro experienced players on the roster by games played. Dan Walcott, Sean Day, Gabe Fortier, and Cole Koepke are great depth. Gage Gonclaves leads the team with 6 points in 5 games. Brandon Halverson had had a 0.914 over 5 games with a 2.23GAA.

Jet Greaves has had a 1.80GAA and a 0.942 save percentage. Five players have had 3 points in 4 games. Five additional players had 2 points. Scoring is here.

The Monsters are deep. The Crunch have a bunch of depth but not deep. It’s a goalie battle. Greaves must stay sharp and more scoring needs to be there. Monsters in 5.

Games 1, 2, and 5 (if necessary) are this Thursday and Saturday and next Sunday in Cleveland.

Games 3 and 4 are next Wednesday and Friday if necessary.
