Brawn, unbelievable reach, hard shot, and tough in corners are all Stanley attributes. Skating ability is currently a problem that can be worked on and potentially fixed. Hockey IQ is something Stanley definitely lacks and is one of those things no one can fix.

If you want to look at the glass half full ( which I tend to do) then take. a look at the Conference standings. I can't see any of Seattle, Arizona, Anaheim Sj, Chicago, VCR, and possibly Minny making. the playoffs, LAK is questionable but possible. Nashville is off to a bad start. That is 9 teams . I figure the Jets will therefore be somewhere in the mix and WILL make the playoffs.

The question mark at the trade deadline will be whether they are good enough to go several rounds. Ross also made this point. Anyways for the time being lets hope they can play .500 or. better hockey until they fully learn the new systems and. then see where we stand. The 15-20 game mark will be be a good place to properly judge the team this year
