The Leafs are on their California dreams tour with stops in San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim and Wally World.
Tampa also in action tonight as they host Utah. And then Utah is at the Panthers Friday night. Wonder if they are capable of a Florida sweep?

Leafs, Panthers and Lightning all with 11 games remaining with two points separating the teams.
Toronto goes into tonights game with 43 wins, whereas the Sharks have 47 points. San Jose is in the midst of an 8 game homestand, 2-4-0 thus far. Leafs are 2-0-1 in their past 3 games in San Jose. Toronto did suffer a shootout loss at home against the Sharks a few weeks ago, when they blew a 2-0 third period lead against the NHL's worst team. That ended a 5 game win streak by Toronto as they slid into a 1-4-1 skid. Since then the Leafs are 4-1-0 and rediscovered their scoring, with 21 goals in the 5 games, and crushing the power play going 6/9 in that 5 game span.

Since Dec 18, Toronto is 15-6-0 on the road with their power play clicking at 35.7%.
Tavares has been red hot lately, 4 game point streak where he's picked up (5G, 4A).
Stolarz has seen more games against San Jose than any other team he's faced and by a lot, 14 games against the Sharks, which is twice as much as his next frequent opponent.
He's 10-1-1 in his career against San Jose, including a perfect 6-0-0 in the Shark Tank. Speaking of 10-1, that;'s Jose Berrios career record against the Orioles.

I will be back tomorrow morning with a column to recap the game and look ahead to Leafs and Kings Saturday night.
