Correct with Soucy, I've heard Ken Holland and the Oilers really like him and Gavrikov so i wonder if one of them end up in Edmonton.


I like Gudas, but you'd have to use him like Florida does, not against top lines. Basically a 3rd pairing anchor #5 dman. Severson as a RHD is interesting but apparently he's prone to major defensive lapses so not sure if he's the answer here.

Orlov I think is a legit top pairing guy. He usually looks like the Caps best 5v5 dman to me whenever I watch their games. That Feheravey(sp?) kid looks pretty decent too.

Tbh I go about 2-3 rounds deep on my scouting. Takes much longer getting it to 3 rounds. After that I give up. I focus on likely chance of being NHLers & how they fit our organizational needs. I’ve done very solid on 1st rounders but pretty meh beyond that.
