I think other teams do though, and he's ridiculously cheap with team control. I like Mittelstadt but you can't be afraid to move him if it brings in pieces that make more sense to build a complete team

Is there anything that suggests that we can’t load up the Skinner-Tage-Tuch line if the situation calls for it?

Perhaps balancing out our scoring at 5v5 enables the Sabres to make the playoffs ?

Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, and William Karlsson all played on different lines and it worked out ok for Vegas and they are 3 out of Vegas’ top 4 forwards (Marchessault being the other of course)

A trade to improve the team, moving some prospects and mid level NHL talent to balance the roster to allow the team to compete for the playoffs. The last 2 "win the cup" trades, the Sabres were the one giving away the player lol.

This offseason has been pretty bizarre. No draft day 1st round pick swaps or trades. The only high profile player to be traded was Alex Debrincat, who essentially made it known weeks prior that Detroit was the team he wanted to go to.

Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto all need to make moves. Karlsson has to be traded. John Gibson apparently has to be traded.

Odd summer.

Why sacrifice a strength when you have the ability to use other assets to balance out the scoring/roster?

First it was no FA's want to come to Buffalo, now the GM can't get any other GM to work with him?

the sabres literally have the assets to get ANY player that another gm is willing to trade and that includes leon, austin, mcdavid, karlsson, oettinger, heiskanen, rantanen or bratt
