If you’re someone who thinks Levi at 21 is going to basically break every barrier rookie/goalies with no pro or AHL experience have yet to break, and think Jordan Greenway is really a 20 goal middle six winger as opposed to a 4th line caliber tweener, then maybe you don’t think this wasn’t an offseason in which Adams needed to make a pretty big stamp on the roster.

I’m not sure of those things

- sbroads24

Levi is the next Ken Dryden

Greenway is a late bloomer

I think Greenway does have the potential to be a 20-goal middle six winger actually.

Levi, yeah I am cautiously stoked on him but you’re acting as if Roy, Barrasso, MAF and Price never happened. There literally is a precedence.

And MAF was awful his first two years. So was Roy
.

I'm confused. On one hand maf and Roy happened..... and on the same hand they were awful their first two years? Sounds like fun!

I'm not sure of those things, or any things, so I don't fret about them before they happen (or don't happen). My wife calls that "borrowing trouble".

Funny how destructive to the environment making these batteries are. But Hey let's pollute 500,000 gallons of water for 1 ounce of Lithium.

It’s honestly insane how much worse for the environment electric cars are than gasoline engines.

A lot in here.

Kim Pegula is still officially listed as the Sabres’ co-owner/president, but it is clear Roth was brought in to run the business side of the hockey club. And it wasn’t expected to be in a part-time role.

The Sabres need a front-facing president who is fan – and media-friendly – and working full time on hockey. Perhaps Roth could have fit that role, but it is going to be impossible for him to do it with the amount of time he is going to have to spend in Orchard Park.

The Sabres need someone like deposed president Ted Black, who put on a happy face on behalf of the franchise from the day Pegula came to town. Remember that “Hockey Heaven” was Black’s key phrase at the Day 1 news conference, and it didn’t come from the owner.

And

Roth was brought in to evaluate the business, but this corner’s antenna was up about his financial company background: Was he brought in to run the team – or set it up for a sale? The Sabres have been a money loser for many years and probably won’t get out of the red until they make the playoffs. Pegula paid $189 million for them in 2011 and had to be shocked to see the Ottawa Senators selling last month for nearly $1 billion. Don’t forget the Pegulas need to cover any cost overruns for the stadium, and that figure won’t be known until construction is complete.

Multiple sources, however, insist a sale – or even the addition of a minority partner – isn’t on Terry Pegula’s radar for the Sabres, even though either scenario would make sense.

From my observations, Terry Pegula is invested in the hockey team as much as he was 12 years ago. He loves the draft and free agency. He loves watching prospect camp, where he sat with Adams and Granato on multiple days this month in LECOM Harborcenter.

The bills just need a camp RB body.

Never wish injury on a player. Just a weird accident. I feel like Hines should Sue the person.

But Hines wasn’t playing RB for this team. Just returning punts and kickoffs

Not a big loss.

💯

Harrington also makes a good point about the president position although I don't think he quite took it far enough. Previously it would have been easy or even understandable to leave Kim Pegula as president of both organizations as a sort of homage to her recovery.

But it is absolutely worth noting that he named himself president of the Bills a week ago and the Sabres have no acting president.

It could be chaulked up to Terry being kind of weird and aloof (with all due respect Ricky Bobby style) or it's something else.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos defensive end Eyioma Uwazurike has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL's policy on gambling, the league announced Monday.

Uwazurike bet on NFL games during the 2022 season, the league said. He can petition for reinstatement no earlier than July 24, 2024.

Sabres twitter already acts like Levi can play 60-65 games. It’s embarrassing.

He’s going to be good. But he’s a rookie.

Think either of them played an active role as President? Always felt like an honorary title to me.

I'm not sold on him by any means, but it was evident from Day 1 he was injured.
