he's versatile and can and does play wing.
let's go ahead and pretend he's traded to Buffalo without the use of a player. Yeah you take Olofsson's spot and make Jost rotational, he can play mid 6 wing and 3C.
This isn't even a question. You would actually use Savoie to get him.
You're not, it's not happening, but if we're on NHL 24, that's what you're doing.

Fair. Everything I've seen from him says he deserves to play the spine, but agreed on Savoie+. He's the real deal. Not surprised the Devils are laughing, I wouldn't trade him either.

I agree, especially with the depth we have in prospects.
I can only think of 3, 4 drafts in the last 10 plus years that a decent load of first rounders panned out to be legit NHL’er. 2015, 2019(but still a bit early to tell) 2020 (still a bit early)

And if I had a dollar for every time we called a young player a bust, only to see them turn into solid NHLers, I would also be able to retire to my own private island. From my boy Reinhart to Quinn to Dahlin to Tage...it does seem to goes both ways. - QuinnFan
