What has Quinn proven, so far?
- kingcong39

That he's a bonafide top9 NHL forward with a lot higher ceiling than that.

i acknowledge mercer has had more impact so far, but im talking about career wise.
- TheSabresTaco

if they were being traded for each other, the sabres would have to add, and not just a 3rd rd pick

The first part of your sentence is acknowledging the obvious.

On your point about using Savoie in a trade for Mercer, if it meant a top 3 RW of Tuch, Mercer, Quinn until Tuch's contract is up, I'd do that deal tomorrow.

I also have no problem with Quinn being a 3rd line player if the team has better options ahead of him.

Quinn and Peterka should not be automatic 2nd line locks.

A lot higher to me means 1st line potential.

I do not see that.

He would have to be Mark Stone like for that to be true.

Hopefully they eliminate hitting and physical play so Quinn can accept his participation trophy

Think Peterka has that potential once he puts it all together

I can see 4 or 5 sabre prospects being better than quinn or peterka for the second line wingers

with tuch and skinner locked up for a bit, we only need 2 or 3 of them

IT’S OFFICIAL 😤

We have signed forward Zach Benson to a three-year, entry-level contract.

"We felt that this player has the upside that often you don't get at that spot in the draft," Adams said. "The way the list was falling, we were starting to get pretty excited this player might be there for us. So, we're excited to welcome Zach, and I guess we like Winnipeg kids."

in a different dimension, ok. not a lottery 1st

and like broads just said. if you're not picking up high, most players are replaceable.

I threw mantha out the other day as it's low risk with 1 year on his deal

if you put mantha on the second line with cozens and casey, and have greenway as your third line winger with krebs and peterka

the ice should open up for the skilled guys in the middle 6

we should have had a few mercers in our lineup

instead we got girgens, drafted zadorov, and a few smurfs

Think Kulich and Benson will be better than both, but I still think JJ has 1st line potential. Sabres have quantity and quality throughout there Organization Forward wise. Been saying for awhile decisions will need to be made quicker with all these prospects. Rochester will be overloaded in 2yrs.
Sabres have the Assets that they shouldn't need someone else to get the market moving again. Adams needs Levi to let go of his peanuts and move it himself.

As expected. How many contracts do we have left to give out? Isn’t the total number 50 or something close
