I broke a rib 2 years ago. The doctor told me to take it easy for 5-6 weeks. We can’t give you pain meds because we want you to feel the pain so you take it easy. Maybe you just go to the wrong doctors. Or you are a cynical nut job who thinks he is smarter than he actually is. |

No, he was obscenely unlucky to have commotio cordis in the first place. It didn't happen because of a pre-existing condition but a blow to the chest at the exact wrong moment. Wrong place, wrong time, nothing more.
