The Bills have nobody but themselves to blame on that part, though. I was willing to give their strategy a chance, even though it sounded weird. Conventional wisdom said "get there as early as you can and give your bodies as much time to adjust as possible". The Bills tried a completely different strategy in the name of "sports science" and it didn't work. I'm not necessarily going to blame them for trying to think outside the box, but when it doesn't work, you have to own it. They looked sluggish for the better part of 3 quarters, especially on offense. Would coming up Monday or Tuesday have made a difference? Who knows, but what they ended up doing certainly didn't help.

There's a lot of "could've, would've, should've" you can take from that game, both leading up to the game and during it. We'll never know if leaving earlier in the week would make a difference. Perhaps Jacksonville being there as long as they were gave them way too much of an advantage to be overcome no matter when they got there. However, there's no doubt they took an unconventional route when it came to traveling, and it did not help at all.

Peterka isnt getting an 8 year deal unless he pops off big time. Quinn probably bridges.

I'm not even sure Savoie is good (sorry). Benson I buy.

Too funny. Let’s make random poop up and claim it’s true

Field conditions was a poor excuse by the bills.

The jags played just fine on the same turf 2 weeks in a row and did lose half their team.

Grass wouldn’t have saved Milanos knee.

Grass wouldn’t have saved Vons acl

Bills slept walked through the jets game also. Was it the turfs or jet lag for that game too?

Same level of flat play

Savoie doesn’t have the same upside that Benson has, I do think though the shift to the wing at the NHL level will benefit him.

I think the comparison to Barzal isn’t far off. Albeit Barzal’s bread and butter is his playmaking ability whereas Savoie is a shooter.

I'm not even sure refers to my personal uncertainty. Nothing about that is made up or a claim.

They played at 2 different stadiums.

Grass vs turf debate isn't going anywhere.

The Jags didn't even play in that Stadium the week before. It shouldn't be used as a excuse for the lose. But grass would save on a lot of injuries, way more forgiving than turf.

Correct - they played in Wembley the first game. I’d be terrified on playing on that turf next Sunday if I was Tennessee and Baltimore. The Jax RT hurt his knee cuz of the turf too. For the NFL to allow it players to play on that surface is disgusting

Every injury gets blamed on turf right now.

I just really hope we get the benefit of seeing Savoie with Cozens and Peterka at some point.

Can he replace what Quinn brought to that line defensively? No, but neither can Olofsson

I think offensively he fits really well though with those two and can replicate the offensive production Quinn had.

I agree about the leaving part, just found this article interesting. I have been on some long a$$ plane rides into different countries and it always seemed like it was 3 or 4 days to where I felt somewhat normal.

I highly doubt there will ever be a team there, at least in the near future. They're trying to make the NFL the same type of product that the European Soccer Leagues are here: get a bigger TV deal over there and have live showcases.

The NFL has had a field playability problem for a long time. Hopefully the heaters at the new stadium work better than the ones at Soldier Field, because they were complaining about how hard the field was last year when the Bills went in there.

If it is it'll be the Jags, what with the Khans owning Fulham as well.
