well in fairness I think they are more likely to be okay with it than if it were the other way around.
It is a fair question though. I would think Quinn would want a bridge deal given the circumstances (unless he goes off next year).
Other than that who is due for a deal soon that would warrant a long term commitment? |

The agent is probably looking out more for himself. You would a smaller short term contract to cash in like dahlin afterwards would have been the way to go. But if he gets injured like Erik Johnson or something like that that hurts his play he won’t get that dahlin deal. |
