Wanna see how Power Joker look tonight and how Clifton and Johnson pair up. Think Mitts or Benson score are 1st goal.
- Buff36

I'm wondering how the line of JJP Cozens Olo performs. Could be a nightmare defensively.

I just hope the boys play solid in front of Levi...give the kid some support rather than hanging him out to dry.

Should get some good odds on that one. Didn't happen a single time last year.

I sure hope it's packed tonight, good team we have. IMO we could have added a little more but, I was told what you is what you get.

Really like the forward groups. Quinn in for Olofsson and we got a legit Top9. Think we missing a dog in the top nine other than tuch. Hopefully that can be Cozens.

Defense……is TBD. I trust meatballs and Adams. Hopefully there really think they inproved with growth, Clifton and Johnson.

Levi is the dude. I just hope its this year.

First goal tonight will be Tage, from Levi and Dahlin.

Sabres 5-3. Cozens with the game-winner and Power with a fighting major and 3 points.

Ehhh I mean just because a guy falls to you one year doesn't mean it's going to happen yearly. Protected in the sense that if you win the lottery maybe, but that just seems like standard practice nowadays.
- Zschalberg

Remember when Grigorenko “fell” to us? Eeeesh.

We just got lucky this year!

Agreed, as their biggest forward need is another Tuch like player, in style and size.

Think they are that piece and another quality, true top 4 defender (preferably RHD) away from being a top level team.

Hope they play decent in front of him to, can't afford to let him loose his swagger.

Olofsson usually creates a void, not many have survived from.

2nd line is really missing atm. Don't think they have the horses yet for a complete middle 6. Time to find out.

He was moving his feet in pre-season from what I saw. (When not with the puck) He's gotta have the effort every game or else like you said, no one survives that void lol

Peterka's gotta show that next gear, Olof has to have and show the effort, Greenway needs to play HARD and dig for his mates, Benson just has to play smart not get caught up in the bs that will inevitably come his way.

I wanna see every guy back checking like its game 82 out there

You kind of said it between the lines. Cozens and Mitts are 2nd line players and the others are hope. Benson may already be the best of that group.

When the puck drops, I'm not sure which is actually the 2nd line. Feels like 3 3rd lines.

Girgs line is a 4th line in todays hockey. Whether they play more ice time than another line or not. They've been doing so cause they've been the most reliable in their own end/on the pk/end of game scenarios.

Almost every team now has 3 lines that can contribute (the good ones) I dont see it as a bad thing to have 2 middle six lines that you could call your second line.

I really believe had Quinn not gotten injured that line was really was going to explode with offense. Hopefully Olo can fill in nice and not drag that line down like the anchor he was last year.

It's a bad thing if you can't get enough offense out of your middle 6.

Overplaying LOG is an annoying tradition.

I think the kid line was prob one of the more productive 2nd lines last year. At least middle of the pact.

Greenway-Mitts-Benson is a upgrade from whatever the hell was the 3rd line last year.

Swap quinn out for oloffson and its a solid middle six.

Honestly i think Olo is gonna start hot like he did last year. Better linemates in Cozens and Peterka. Speed-do it all center-sniper.

It is, I don't believe that'll be an issue though.

It has been, they have to have all lines being defensively responsible this year.

From Hamster, sounds like Jost and Bryson scratched and Levi starting.

Daily Faceoff is by far the best resource for Fantasy Hockey. Here's what they got for line combos and they have. They also have Levi as likely based on Lance Lys reporting Levi was in starters crease during morning skate.

You think Quinn's 37 points and JJ's 32 was one of the more productive 2nd lines in the league?
