Ticket scalping not only negatively impacts the platform, leaving it at risk of cyberattacks, but also hurts businesses. “At face value you would think ticket organizers should be happy because after all they are selling out all the tickets for an event they are promoting.

Why don't (some) folks take adams' own words to heart about drafting and developing being the bulk of the plan? It saves you all a lot of hand-wringing and saves me from reading the same old tired crap repeated relentlessly about us not making huge trades and "wasted years".

I guess I don't have to read it, but I come here for the 15% of convos that aren't based on some kind of fantasy wish-list...and for some that have to do with cooking.

We were not going to be putting out a team of 19 year olds, and we were not going to be making a big trade this offseason unless it was a gimme. That's the take home message I got from Adams all along....did I miss some big press conference where he revealed his plan to do these things?

I do, however, semi-expect some action near the tdl, depending on how things go from October-January. Gonna be a fun, interesting year for me, at least.

I think the question then becomes why couldn't he get the deal Ottawa got? Or were they banking on Ottawa finishing below us? For the record, I wouldn't want to get rid of the Benson pick so I guess it's a moot point anyways.

Made a bunch of trades to bring in some of that core, signed a bunch of FA that are apart of that core. Beane goes and gets. Adams hasn't done anything like that yet. I like Adams but he's not to that point yet.

My guess is that Adams did a drive by price check and the nhl media made it seem as if the Sabres and Arizona were deep into trade talks.
