Dropping the ball isn’t Dorsey’s fault
- Boss34

For sure, yet was that the only problem with the O?
-Drops
-Penalties
-Inaccurate throws
-Offensive Line leakage
-Disjointed play calls, very little calls to set up future plays
-Runs from Shotgun that just.don't.work.

The list goes on. Usually when that many miscues happen, look to the top for ineffective leadership.

Yes, I am calling out Dorsey and McDermott.

I think it’s on the coach to have them ready to play. NFL especially. Clock management, motivation, game-flow, play-calling, all of it is on coaching.

Dropping the ball and etc. isn’t why we lose a game. We lose because before that ball was dropped, we ran out of the shotgun 2 times for 3 yards and think that’s how you establish the run. Then after that, abandon both the run and the pass while Josh just runs for his life for a nice 3 and out.

Good teams find ways to win and over come, not find more excuses.
- SABRES 89

Ahhhh that is a very old school take.

I disagree.

You can only have so much “depth” before you reach the bottom of the barrel. The bills on defense have his that bottom.

It’s fascinating to me that Josh Allen and his decision making isn’t being looked at. I get he’s Josh Allen. Top 5 QB

But the reality is ….. he hasn’t been good either.

Jets game - he was horrible. We can all blame him

Jags game - everyone sucked. So fine mulligan

The patriots game: he overthrew Gabe Davis multiple times, diggs multiple times. Diggs was wide open on a double move deep ball.

When will people realize that Allen is to blame for a majority of this.

Allen locking in on Diggs as the 1st read. That is bad QB play 101. Rookies do that

Major Injury aside, you really think Levi doesn’t play

46 of the next 77 games ?

- Boss34

I really don't care who plays how many games. As long as they show up.

Hopefully Comrie keeps showing out like he did on Saturday and takes some work off Levi's plate.

After tweaking something after 4 consecutive starts. I dont think he can handle it physically yet. And The performance he displayed that day also suggests so.

Well when your QB isn't comfortable in what he's running, bad play comes out. Plus they can't take away what made Josh a Top 3 QB. Josh definitely deserves some of the blame, but we wouldn't win most games without what he does. Josh is much better when he gets into a rhythm and Dorsey isn't good at that yet. Josh deserves some of the blame for both Division loses.

Allen missed diggs on a wide open bomb late in the game.

- Sabretooth9

the second to last play when diggs dropped it?

or the play where they were both grabbing each others jersey by the end zone?

Can someone explain to me why we wouldn't roll out Comrie again after last game? At this point just play the guy who is playing best. The only reasons I can see to not go back to Comrie is

A) By continuing to play the guy playing well it puts pressure on them to perform and instills some sort of fear that if they don't play excellent they lose the spot - goalies are weird and extremely mental.

B) Don't want to hurt UPL feelings.

We are, he will be playing tonight. And if he performs again I'd expect to see him on Friday.

Okay, well Dorsey is using Daboll playbook.

Josh Allen during training camp mentioned this in an interview.

Should scrap the whole offense then?

Things sure did change quickly. Week+ in and we're concerned abut Levi's ability to hold up to the kind of workload they wanted to give him and his hold on the #1 job is less secure.

Hope Comrie plays well tonight and ups the competition.

He did have to make a few great saves. Wasn't a complete walk in the park.

I agree though that it was an easy night.

Think the best reason would be that you want to go with Comrie in Ottawa.

Sounds likie Comrie tonight, very curious on tomorrow.

Wow.
So you are going to ignore the rest?

Yes, Allen has generally sucked.
So has a number of players, coaches etc.

They are not getting rid of Allen and his play has fallen off a cliff, sans 1 very good game, in the last 10 or so (didn't look it up). But so has the play calling struggled aft the initial 6 or 7 games to begin last season.

Since Dorsey owns the offense, he is ultimately responsible, and since he is designing and calling the Offense which has been abysmal for awhile now...he gets criticism as well.

I hate giving the HC a pass on the offense, it's still his ultimate responsiblity. I think he presses them to run and they get stuffed often enough that it puts them in bad situations. Running to set up a 3rd and 7 drives me crazy. Game managing, instead of getting 2 shots.

I would say Dorsey has changed that playback a lot to his liking. Daboll was much better at stacking targets for Josh at different yard levels. I am not taking blame away from Josh but seen a lot of routes where WR's were very close to each other.

Coaching has been so bad they had 4 foot Taron Johnson playing man with 6'4 Mike Gieseki on 2nd and goal..

4th and 2 play design.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes Allen shoul of thrown half a second earlier, yes Dawson should have caught it.

Doesn't make the play calling better by any means
