The counter/excuse to adding a muscle man to this roster is, it's 2023.

- #1 goalie slot is wide open for this team still, even UPL commented on how bad the situation is for him but he is trying to take advantage of opportunities last night.

- Benson is fading shift by shift into unnoticeable IMO. Give him the 9 games, he had a great camp. This roster is desperate for a different type of player in that position.

- Let's see what Savoie brings, the way the roster is set up, it makes sense to give him NHL games.


Savoie and Benson can be used interchangeably, the day Olo is waived is the day I know Adams is actually trying to improve the roster.

The Quinn return should tell us something. Gives a few of the Rochester guys a few months to acclimate and get their game going, which makes Olofsson all the more expendable. Really do think he's the first to go. Especially if Benson and Savoie aren't kept.

I don't know if it's a good or bad call, but loading up the top 6 is turning your 3rd line into a defacto 4th and asking LOG to play more than they can handle.

I unfortunately think Benson is almost assuredly going back. I think he goes back when Savoie’s stint is done and he gets a game or a few and then they ride things out until Kane is ready to play

They need to put back L1 together. Its a must. It should never be split. They started slow last year also.
