Don't most teams win when most of, if not the entire roster plays well in a game?
Strengthening a roster is about being able to sustain multiple injuries and still put up W's, and being able to win when the entire team doesn't play well.

Not at all. That is simply what has happened so far.
To repeat, I agreed with Homie that when the effort is there, so are the results, regardless of how talent stacked the team is.
Of course i hope the effort continues to be strong all year, of course I want coaching to be strong and effective, of course I want the gm to try to improve the roster, of course I think we should be making the playoffs this year...we all do.
But I am glad we did not make any big moves this summer because I believe that, unless a trade was a slam-dunk in our favor, now was not the time.

I think the expectations of a decent goalie and a RD significantly better than clifton should have been a realistic expectation and adding a clifton/johnson for the short term

Bills will run the 1st one in with Gilliam, he’s been quiet all season. Then hit Knox on a slant to score. I have so much confidence in this I have committed $10 dollars to it.

Yes Effort does help with results, but if a young team has trouble bringing Effort to games than you supposed Leadership Core needs to be better at pushing them to give that effort. Obviously they have the Talent.
