If he bet on MLB or the NFL who gives a flying fudge, betting on hockey is different. But he has a bet365 ad on his helmet in the picture ffs. With all the betting website ads being crammed down our throats it was only a matter of time I suppose.

So I guess that maybe the Sens/Dorion did not mismanage the cap in Ottawa. They probably knew. Also explains why we never really heard a peep from the Pinto camp this whole time.

Pinto's suspension is retro-active to the Senators' first game of the season. I don't believe he would sign with the team now until he has served his suspension in January. The Dec. 1 RFA signing deadline doesn't apply to him because he's not Group 2 (can't sign an offer sheet).

Garrioch says Pinto now has to sign the QO to begin serving the suspension.
LeBrun follows up with no contract until after the suspension games.

When Shane Pinto can play his first game this season. He will EASILY fit within the cap. He will sign a VERY low contract now. He owes the Sens and he is not looking good now. I wonder what his trade value will be - or if the Sens would consider trading him. Thank god for Ridly Grieg! I would resign him to an extension next summer.
