They've lied and mislead about injuries too many times for me to give them the benefit of the doubt....and it just makes more sense.

Murray is day to day (upper-body).

Mersch is week to week (upper-body).

Kisakov is still out this weekend (lower-body).

Neuchev is still out (upper-body), but is getting closer.

Weissbach is still out week-to-week (upper-body).

There's a lot of grey area. There's 2 forms of conditioning loans. One is meant for guys coming off LTIR (6 days or 3 games and you can request an extension of 2 games), the other has no real criteria (14 day max). The Shane Wright critera from last year was 5 healthy scratches.

Since the non-LTIR version exists, it's really just about what the NHL will allow. Read that these CHL guys can only get 1 conditioning loan per season.

He was designated week to week. So let's say he's out for 3 weeks. Give him 2 weeks in Rochester, send him right to World Junior camp.

By then Quinn is back, maybe Kane is here, or they decide they don't need Kane because Biro/Rousek/Savoie/Kulich/Rosen has made a spot for themselves.
