Like with Joker doing better in less ice time. IMO Samuelsson would benefit from a reduction in ice time. Guy makes some boneheaded plays.. usually towards the end of games.

They're still only 23 and 24. D tend to take some time.

I think they really wanted him at 3LD. We know they had their sights set higher than Clifton, and I think they wanted him in their top 4. Acquiring D has been much tougher than KA imagined.

Hell no. If its 5mil a year for joker than im gonna spend 2 mil more and find a better and different style defenseman than what we have.

Novikov or Johnson should take 1 spot next year. We have a few guys we srafted this year that can be on the team in 2-4 years.

Think it would take a very nice package to get him with being locked up for basically 3 more years. But the Sabres have the ability to make a pretty nice offer to help them start there rebuild and not kill us.

Nope. He's letting the prospects develop, those are the only guys who are really his outside Stillman and Greenway, so small sample of the roster to choose from there. He said he was willing to trade our 1st and more for Chychrun, but the more was Savoie or Kulich and that wasn't happening (smart).
