Yes, Wilford and his defensive system is a proven failure...yet they continue to retain this dum dum...I just do not get it. The proof is in the pudding and it is pretty runny.

Damn, Dallas scored 5 PP goals in 7 attempts on Minnesota. And we couldn't sniff the net going 0 for 4 against them.

The big miss this year, aside from a goalie, was not signing some toughness for our 4th line. 2 off our top 6 hurt from fighting. We could have signed 6-8 different guys for what we paid. Okposo, Girgensons, Jost and brought in some mean and nasty.

Matt Duchene is really having a good year for Dallas, already has 11pts and is almost 60% on the Dot. That was a nice deal for Dallas.

It’s very hard to imagine that this year isnt just another “building” year, and that is massively disappointing. If there ever was a year to bring in a couple complimenting players, it was this year. Guys took big discounts, short term deals. We have a good young crop that could use 2 years of development.
I feel like we are setting our selves up for another Eichel/Rino situation where the build takes so painfully long, who says a couple guys won’t want off the loser train in a couple years.
I have no faith that Adams can addd what is needed this coming year to fix this.

Bad thing for me was that I knew the lineup was basically set by July 10th. Adams didn't even leave himself wiggle room to try and bring in such a player.

I agree 100%. I’ve never been sold on Donny. I’m really not sold on him now. This was the prove it year. All though we didn’t add some key players needed, his diabolical miss management of this roster is concerning.
