Adams learns how to be a GM from the Bills. The Bills have been drunk on potential since the 2020 team and rode that up to now only to regress each season, resulting in the coach losing the locker room. Now the team is in limbo with bad contracts.

Adams and Meatball sitting on their hands and relying on potential to eventually evolve into impact is going to result in losing the room. The conviction era is going to lead the #3 offense in the NHL last year to another early vacation, while everyone continues to gush on potential.

The lack of clarity for either team wasn't an instantaneous problem that fell from the sky, it's the piss poor plans by front offices...both led by Terry.

The day Terry see's his NFL revenue fall might be the day action is taken.

Revenue sharing means this day will never come.

The Bills are still in a far better spot. They have won games, meaningful games, with the majority of the guys on this roster. They need some changes at the top, but I still believe you can still win with this roster as a whole.

The Sabres, on the other hand, have not done this. They have issues at the top as well, but the roster is far more flawed. We're talking about year four of a rebuild where the players on this team have melted every time they faced a "must win" situation.

On top of that, the Bills have done it in a league where it's far more difficult. The NHL is a league where 50% of its teams make the postseason. You just need to be average, and the Sabres haven't even been that for well over a decade.

Both teams need a shake up.

Sabres shake up could be a trade. But they're expecting Kane to fix all their offensive problems. Not a good plan bob.

Point 1 is spot on

Point 2 won't happen. NFL revenue is all but guaranteed and we're opening a new stadium that's long overdue.

Nice article on Turcotte. I really wish we'd swoop in and grab him before LA realizes what they have.

I think Kane would be a value add with how mentally weak the team is. I do not think he is the singular solution to the organizations problems.

If Terry loved the Sabres he would sell them, its beyond pathetic how bad he manages them.

Interesting..

"The Bills stink on offense for a multitude of reasons."

"Their offense is widely predictable"

"It's the easiest offense in the NFL to prepare for because they don't do anything."

"They build none of their pass game into Stefon Diggs

"Schematically it's a broken offense."

The video looks like a kick, not with intent to the neck/head but an intentional kick to interfere. Reckless at a minimum, I think he’ll get convicted.

funny, the still pic didn’t capture the vapor trail behind the ball.

Not saying he shouldn’t be expected to catch it, just saying that pass was a rocket.

If it was a one off, I'd be with you on this as it wasn't like this was 25yard pass that needed zing...

But all his passes are rockets. He basically knows how to throw on a rope and run, his "touch" on soft passes has been a sore spot since he was drafted. He'll hit the 30 yard crossing route then sail one over the head of his RB in the flat because he tries to take something off of it.

“It’s special because I know where we’ve been and I know where we are now. And that’s something that I’m the most proud of, is what we have in that room and what they’re going to continue in that room for hopefully a long time, is something that is tangible," Okposo said. “… I can see it in the way they treat each other, how they treat everybody else, how respectful of a group they are. But how much they care about each other, that means the world to me. To be playing with those guys every night, it’s a ton of fun.”

https://www.nhl.com/sabre...reunited-with-former-team

I took 2 things from this:

1) Okposo admitting he won't be resigning?

2) This leadership group has spent 4 seasons building up this new identity, resulting in their greatest accomplishment....people speaking nicely to each other.

Get this garbage out of here.

I said it then, that was their peak with McDermott… I think my exact words were “That might have been this team’s peak under McDermott, guys”…

But who do you even hire? Can an interim catch fire like with the Raiders?

I think the clock management is an issue. McDermott plays chess and he plays like you have to take turns scoring and win on the last score…

Josh runs it in with like 1:50 left… like dude run some clock, make them burn their timeouts… that’s on the coaches. Denver basically let him score so they could have the ball back. That’s coaching.

Season is done. We might not get 7 wins.

- Jet Jaguar BD

Depends how much the players hate McDermott. All indications were that the Raiders despised that smarmy fück

But it's a pipe dream. Unless McDermott pulls a Rex Ryan and forces Pegula's hand he's here for at least the rest of the season
