When you watch them get out muscled night after night, you do have to wonder how 5 undersized forwards are going to slot in.

Is KA just hoping for the Darcy scenario: the NHL starts calling penalites when these kids are ready?

sabres may be the youngest team but they have more experience than 5 teams

so maybe that excuse is null

Tage, Greenway, Cozens, Tuch, Dahlin, Power, Mitts, Clifton.

The meat of the roster has size.

The LOG line being useless and the Erik Johnson signing falls on Adams. With that being said, Donnie doesn’t have to play them like they are still in their prime.

I still think the bulk of the start we’ve had falls at the feet of the coaching staff.

Big week coming up with Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh, and New Jersey. If you don’t pull 7 points at minimum then the alarm bells go off for me

Soft size. They get pushed around.

Plenty of blame to spread around the front office + coaching. Career years and lofty S%'s aren't there. Goaltenidng is just a notch better than last year. They aren't bad, but I don't see an improvement overall.

Believe the Sabres could win with there Goalies, don't think they need 3 but they can win. The biggest thing is they don't put the effort into what it takes on the Ice to do that in Front of there Goalie's. Jesus the other night Boston was kicking are A$$es and were still playing like the game was 0-0. You will never get what the Sabres did in the 3rd last night every game and minute, but the more you can Consistently do that the more games the Sabres will Win.
- Buff36

Sabres defense was to blame for 2 out 3 goals. Samualsson literally didn’t tie up his man for one of the goals.

If this team reels off 2 wins in a row half the people on here will be ready to give Adams and Granato the ‘ol Reach-Around with a Dirty Sanchez on top !

Isn’t receiving the dirty sanchez a bad thing???

Anyone else have had Zegras rather than cozens?

It’s been so long since cozens has made a decent goal so I forget what he’s supposed to be good at.

Hard to believe how bad he's been so far at producing points.

This group was saying all summer, look at Florida…all you have to do is get in.

Just look at how different the GM’s of Florida and Buffalo managed their rosters.

Florida did a lot….they traded their star
In Huberdeau for Tkachuk, Adams traded Eichel for Tuch and Krebs. Massive difference in value swapped, Buffalo and Calgary on the losing ends.

Bad trade deals, inability to support the core that was given to him by the previous GM.

It’s a bad comparison based on everything, why would the plan be to sneak into the playoffs in the last wild card spot? How was that something to look forward to?

Yes, he's injured now.

1 goal and 1 assist in 12 games is pathetic.

Until Adams removes the Blockade he has put up around the Sabres, don't think the Sabres should be comparable with any Team. Well maybe Arizona cause we have sucked even longer than they have.

Not even Arizona as their current GM has at least figured out how to truly leverage their cap space for picks while attempting to build the team.

Our team won't do that due to having a cheap owner.

At this stage, I’d say Arizona has managed their roster better, Adams brought this supporting cast in and has bragged about how much of an impact they bring.

Even if the collective realize compete solves all, it’s an unbalanced, soft roster, with a group of prospects as the only option for help.

At least we have Skinners and E Johnson 1,000th games to look forward to.

Well a loss tonight would have to open some eyes I would hope. I would hate to see that, but maybe a kick in the Nuts by Chicago would be the Best thing for this Organization.

The hawks are riding a 3 game losing streak and are coming in tonight fresh off a loss last night.

The Sabres need to have a strong start, something they haven’t done in the past 2 years.

Other than that, this game is a toss up, the Sabres should win. We get to see Bedard vs Benson tonight, let’s see the difference of 12 draft spots.

Taylor Hall loves playing the Sabres, does any Sabre score frequently against the Hawks?

I want to bet the over, with Hall and Peterka as any time scorers, I’m not going to pull the trigger quite yet.
