He's not tipping his hand on Benson but based on how he's talking, Benson is staying.

As I posed yesterday, Don is indeed rolling 7D because Ryan Johnson needs to play. He also said Ryan being in the lineup is more important than some of the poopty forwards, which should be obvious but it's telling coming from him.
- TheSabresTaco

Well then get rid of said Sh!tty forwards and either play your youth or bring in someone better.

He used the phrase "not ideal" when discussing the fact that they feel better about 11-7.

Well then Yes, especially Pesce or Tanev.

Defense trade targets I found with players who have a current deal that at least lasts through the end of the 24-25 season.

These are not ranked in any kind of order, or how realistic they may be.

This sounds a lot like last season, when Samuelsson going out contributed to the early season 8 game losing streak, and Tuch's late season injury resulted in some losses.

Once again, is it that much to (frank)ing ask for quality depth to be added instead of short term, over paid, under performing want to be here type players?

They're not truly serious about winning based on their little poop moves they continue to make.

I would love Parayko and Weegar, Andersson being the #1 target.

Slavin ain't going anywhere, Brodin could be a silent killer, I don't know much about him. I doubt Tampa trades Cernak in the division.

I know you agree, but no (frank)ing poop on it not being ideal.

Are they going to sit on their hands again and wait for Tage, Quinn and perhaps Kane to join the team?

These (frank)ing guys take 30 minutes to poop, when they should be getting work done.

What is the answer?

Is it continue to wait for more prospects to turn into quality NHL players...?

Well, the way this org functions, in this particular case, is that both him and Kevyn are well aware of and recognize the issue.

What I would say and what Kevyn would say is probably two different things, and I'm going to guess that neither of us would say what you suspected above.

Slavin and Pesce probably go hand in hand in which one they keep IMO. And some are very good but come with some Sh!tty contracts.
Cernak or Andersson would be a target of mine, doubt either get moved but I think we could put a package together for either that might make them think about it. Pesce, Slavin would be a decent get depending on Carolina's thinking and Tanev would be FA target. I am not a big fan of Hanifin, good player just not what we need.

Agreed on Slavin and Cernak going nowhere.

I just tried to find the best defenseman who had contracts with at least a little term.

Brodin is a silent killer. A modern defensive defenseman.

On Andersson, I know he was suspended earlier this season for his borderline hit, but I loved seeing it.

Dahlin needs another teammate who brings the kind of borderline force like he did when he destroyed Marchand earlier this season.

What would Adams say?

I'm generally curious, because I have no idea what his plan is, aside from hoarding 376 prospects and selling hope until the day he's completely bald.

I think Andersson could be had from Calgary, but it would require paying up a lot.

It won't be long before they find out that E. Johnson isn't very useful on the PK either.

That unmasking is coming soon.

Half the team will have 3years burned on there Contracts, we will have wasted years of Tuch and Skinner. It's a Fantastic Plan.

Well we have enough to rebuild Calgary and still be ranked in the top 10 prospect pool
