Last season, Buffalo was 7-11 after the 18 games(compared to 8-9-1 this season), due to the horrendous 8 game losing streak.

They went 5-3-2 over the next 10.

It's at that point that they went on a run of 6 wins in a row, and 8 of 9, to propel them to a 20-15-2 record after 37 games.

Do they have an 8-1 nine game stretch in them?

Agreed, Adams and co must value these future 3rd line guys (with potential to be in a crowded top 6) being the top guys in the AHL and learning top 6 roles and responsibilities...then promoting them and inserting them into the 3rd line...then Meatballs can slowly (~8 mins a night) teach them how to be 3rd liners and then, the plan is coming together.
